In the midst of ongoing controversies surrounding the popular noontime show ‘It’s Showtime,’ Vice Ganda injected some humor into the program with a light-hearted remark about mass reporting.
During the ‘Rampanalo’segment of ‘It’s Showtime,’ Vice Ganda asked the live studio audience if everyone had already taken part in mass reporting, eliciting cheers and laughter.
When one contestant, Ion, opened his box, Vice Ganda jokingly requested that Ion perform a dance for good luck, quipping, “Ganyan! Ituloy natin ang pag-iibigan. Tuloy-tuloy lang. Tuloy ang pag-iibigan walang makakapagpigil. Ganun!”
“Nakapag-mass report na ba lahat? Charot! Nakapag-mass report na ba lahat?!” Vice Ganda playfully inquired, maintaining an upbeat atmosphere.

It’s important to note that ‘It’s Showtime’ is currently in the hot seat after a 12-day suspension imposed by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB). The suspension stems from alleged violations of child protection guidelines during a segment of ‘It’s Showtime.’ Viewer complaints regarding the perceived indecency of a cake-eating performance, especially in front of children, led to this disciplinary action.
Controversial social media personality Rendon Labador publicly celebrated the MTRCB’s decision regarding one of his complaints against the show. However, shortly after Labador’s post, his Facebook account was reported by numerous users, resulting in its removal from the platform. Labador’s personal account and email were also affected by this action.
Despite facing these challenges, Vice Ganda remains a prominent and positive figure in the entertainment industry, known for his humor, strong audience connection, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights.
