In a recent interview, Vice Ganda, the well-known comedian and television personality, responded with humor when questioned about the case brought against him by the Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas, Inc. (KSMBPI).
During an interview, held at the birthday celebration of Ralph Figaroa Delas Alas, founder of Urban Smiles Dental Clinic, Vice Ganda was asked about the ongoing legal case.
His response was straightforward and carefree as he expressed his primary intention for attending the event – to enjoy himself.
“I’m here to enjoy,” he quipped.
In a friendly gesture, Vice Ganda encouraged the reporter to relish the evening, saying, “Let’s enjoy the night.”

Notably, in a previous social media post, Vice Ganda acknowledged a recent victory and attributed it to the unwavering support of the “madlang people,” a term affectionately used to refer to the devoted followers and fans of the popular noontime variety show ‘It’s Showtime.’
“Isang araw na puno ng pagwawagi at tagumpay ng Madlang People,” Vice Ganda wrote in his post.
Isang araw na puno ng pagwawagi at tagumpay ng Madlang People. Kung maaari lang sanang araw araw lahat nagwawagi. #ShowtimeAngKaBonding

In addition to expressing his gratitude, Vice Ganda also conveyed his hope for continuous triumphs in the daily lives of his supporters.
The legal case in question involves Vice Ganda and his partner Ion Perez, who are facing allegations of violating the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012. The case was filed by a group of social media broadcasters who claimed that Vice and Ion engaged in an “act of indecency” during a segment on ‘It’s Showtime’ in July 2023, specifically related to them licking cake icing off each other’s fingers. The case remains pending at the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
