Having survived atrocities in life, himself, Vice Ganda navigated a conversation with an Isip Bata contestant, who is also a young mother, easily, and without skipping the chance of inspiring the Madlang People.
Vice Ganda’s struggles in his early life, and career as a performer and celebrity, have been an open secret. Through them, the superstar host has been able to relate with the experiences of the many regular people he crosses paths with in the noontime show, It’s Showtime. Given his eloquence, Vice Ganda unsurprisingly pulls off any conversation about facing adversities in life, and turn it into something inspirational, for his audience.
Such is the case last August 26, when a young mother named Angela, joined the segment Isip Bata. As he, himself, endured many sacrifices and failures in life, Vice took his chance of giving the best advice he can provide Angela. It was also an advice to everyone who may be going through the same situation.
“Hindi madali ang buhay; marami kang kakaharapin. Kailangang handa (ka at may) tibay ng loob at kapal ng apog, ” he told the player, adding what the current times demand, is grit and perserverance.
“Sa panahon ngayon, kinakailangan ‘yan. Kailangang makapag ang apog mo, dahil kung hindi. Lalamunin ka ng kapwa mo, ”
The comedian-TV host underscored that people, especially in tough situation, need to have grit, when dealing with life’s cruelties.
“Lalo na ngayon, ang mga tao day, ang lulupit! Kaya kailangang kapalan mo ang apog mo para makalaban sa kalupitan ng kapaligiran!” he shared.
Isip Bata is a segment on It’s Showtime airing three times a week, alternating with another kiddie segment, Minis Miss U.
