Following the 12-day suspension of ‘It’s Showtime’ by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), it has been announced that Vice Ganda will not be able to participate in the much-anticipated ‘ASAP in Milan’ event as originally planned.
The Filipino Channel made the announcement today, citing Vice Ganda’s inability to leave ‘It’s Showtime’ and ‘Everybody Sing’ at this time as the reason for the cancellation.
The news comes after it was announced in July that Vice Ganda would be joining the ‘ASAP Natin ‘To’ family and performing at the ‘ASAP in Milan’ show scheduled for September 10, 2023, at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago, Milan, Italy.
The event was set to feature dazzling performances by Vice Ganda, along with other Kapamilya stars, including Martin Nievera, Regine Velasquez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Erik Santos, Moira Dela Torre, Kim Chiu, KZ Tandingan, and Darren Espanto.
The star-studded lineup also included Inigo Pascual, Maymay Entrata, AC Bonifacio, Jona Viray, Klarisse de Guzman, Morissette Amon, Angeline Quinto, Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, and Piolo Pascual. Special appearances were expected from Lovi Poe, Joshua Garcia, Janella Salvador, Paulo Avelino, Dimples Romana, Ion Perez, Basilyo, Smugglaz, Kitchie Nadal, Bamboo, and Coco Martin.
The cancellation of Vice Ganda’s appearance is a disappointment for fans eagerly anticipating the event. However, it underscores the impact of the recent suspension on the host’s commitments and engagements beyond ‘It’s Showtime.’
