Vice Ganda has recently faced controversy, with the culmination being a 12-day suspension imposed by the MTRCB on It’s Showtime.
This suspension resulted from numerous complaints against the show, particularly in relation to alleged indecent acts during the July 25 episode. The MTRCB argued that an incident during the Isip Bata segment violated certain rules and regulations. They also noted several prior warnings regarding the use of inappropriate language on the noontime show.
ABS-CBN and It’s Showtime, however, maintained their innocence, asserting that they had not violated any relevant laws warranting a program suspension.
