Richard Gutierrez’s ‘The Iron Heart’ has once again emerged victorious.
The clash began in November of the previous year when ‘The Iron Heart,’ starring Richard, went head-to-head with Bea Alonzo and Alden Richards’ teleserye, ‘Start-Up PH.’
From the very start, viewers were drawn to Richard’s series, drawing comparisons to international action dramas. With nearly a year on the air, ‘The Iron Heart’ faced a new challenger in the form of ‘Love Before Sunrise,’ a series featuring Bea and Dennis Trillo, which launched in the past week.
This marks the sixth teleserye to compete against ‘The Iron Heart.’ In the initial showdown between Richard’s series (The Iron Heart) and Bea’s (Start-Up PH), Bea’s show consistently secured higher ratings. However, this time around, the situation has shifted.
In its debut episode on Monday (September 25), ‘The Iron Heart’ immediately claimed victory with a rating of 8.1, surpassing Bea and Dennis’s 8.0.
On Tuesday, September 26, the ratings improved further, with ‘The Iron Heart’ achieving a rating of 8.6 against its competitor’s 7.5.
The winning streak continued on Wednesday, with ‘The Iron Heart’ scoring an 8.6% rating compared to its rival’s 7.5%. On Thursday, it reached its peak rating at 9.4%, while the competing Kapuso show garnered 7.7%.
Additionally, the series maintains a strong online presence, drawing over 350,000 concurrent live viewers.
Congratulations to Richard, Star Creatives, and all those involved in “The Iron Heart” for their continued success in this ratings battle!
