Talent manager and prominent vlogger Ogie Diaz has recently addressed the viral video of actor Albie Casiño’s lively performance during the Mutya ng Cotabato 2023 beauty pageant.
Casiño’s spirited rendition of popular songs and engaging interaction with the audience in the video led some to speculate that he might have been under the influence of alcohol. However, Ogie Diaz set the record straight, clarifying that Casiño was not intoxicated during the performance.
According to Diaz, Albie Casiño’s manager, Leo Dominguez, stated that the actor has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), a condition that makes it challenging for him to remain stationary or focused for prolonged periods. This condition has been part of Casiño’s life and is something he has learned to manage effectively.
Ogie Diaz emphasized that ADHD is a mental condition that Albie has been coping with, especially when performing. He clarified that this condition should not be mistaken for signs of intoxication and encouraged understanding and support for individuals with ADHD.
Furthermore, Ogie Diaz took the opportunity to offer valuable advice to fellow artists. He stressed the importance of professionalism in the entertainment industry, regardless of an artist’s level of fame or expertise. Diaz emphasized that artists should respect their commitments and strive to deliver exceptional performances at all times, ensuring their audiences have memorable experiences.
“Seriously speaking, dapat pag raket – binabayaran naman tayo ng tama, dapat gawin natin ng maayos ‘yung performance natin,” Ogie Diaz advised. He emphasized that artists should prepare thoroughly for their commitments and uphold a high standard of professionalism.
In conclusion, Ogie Diaz highlighted the significance of professionalism within the entertainment industry. He encouraged artists to approach their commitments with dedication and strive for excellence in every performance, even if they are not professional singers. Diaz’s message serves as a reminder to all artists to take their commitments seriously and leave a positive and lasting impact on their audiences.
