On August 30, Kapuso actor Martin Del Rosario hinted at an upcoming project where he needed a fit body.
On the media event for the ‘Voltes V: Legacy’ finale, which LionhearTV covered, Del Rosario revealed that he was getting in shape for a role.
“Ah hindi ko pa pwedeng sabihin eh, medyo confidential pa po, pero mayroon akong pinaghahandaan na kailangan medyo malaki ‘yung katawan ko.”
He then discussed his role in the upcoming Kapuso series, ‘Asawa ng Asawa Ko.’
“Pero right now, nagte-taping ako para sa ‘Asawa ng Asawa ko.’ Kasama ko pa rin doon si Liezel (Lopez) so nakakalungkot lang kasi hindi na siya si Zandra. Tsaka ‘yun nga medyo bitter sweet ‘yung pakiramdam na nasa bagong show na ako tapos talagang nami-miss ko ‘yung Voltes V Legacy, kasi nami-miss ko na kami ‘yung magkakasama-sama.”
He also cited the possibility of working with Liezel Lopez in the upcoming Kapuso series as a ‘villainous love team.’
“Hindi ko rin alam ‘yung tatakbuhin ng script sa ‘Asawa ng Asawa ko’ eh. Pero kung love team, definitely masama pa rin kami.”
Del Rosario then highlighted how proud he was to be part of the cast of the live-action adaptation of ‘Voltes V: Legacy.’
“Sa akin, ilang beses ko ng sinabi na sobrang proud ako na maging parte nito. And parang forever ko na ‘tong dadalhin kahit 20 years pa yan. Kasi minsan ko masasabi na ako si Zardos, dito sa Voltes V: Legacy. So nakakataba ng puso, nakaka-proud, halo-halo na lalo na noong napanood ko ‘yung Voltes V: Legacy na alam kong nagawa naming maganda ito na maipagmamalaki talaga, and pwedeng ipagmalaki sa ibang bansa so nakaka-proud.”
‘Voltes V: Legacy’ stars Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Raphael Landicho, Radson Flores, and Matt Lozano.
The cast also features Del Rosario, Lopez, Carlo Gonzalez, and many more.
