On the media event for the ‘Voltes V: Legacy’ finale, which LionhearTV covered, Reyes acknowledged that there were improvements they could’ve added to the series but was happy with the result of the Kapuso series.
“I guess what we planned to do– we are happy with what we accomplished. You know, nothing is perfect. We could’ve improved on a lot of things and added more things to the story, but of course, we have a limited time already.”
He then highlighted the positive response from Filipinos abroad with what their series achieved.
“For the bigger picture, its overwhelming– that not only in the Philippines ang response for Voltes V: Legacy but globally. Until now, I still get reaction on my social media pages from outside the country, from Japan mostly. And then, US and other parts, so when they get to watch it on GMA Pinoy TV.”
He then noted that he felt proud of GMA Network’s achievement through the series.
“So it’s very touching that– it’s the biggest achievement that we have done is that we said ‘Hello World’ GMA can do something like this and we’re proud with what we’ve done and thank you for watching.”
