Kapamilya actress Lovi Poe chose to remain tight-lipped when queried about the fate of her character, Mokang, in ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ now that a new love interest for Coco Martin’s character, Tanggol, has entered the storyline.
In an interview on Thursday, September 7, just before her departure for the ‘ASAP Natin ‘To’ show in Milan, Poe confirmed that she would be returning to the primetime teleserye, dispelling rumors of a possible exit following her real-life wedding.
“Let’s just wait and see what happens in their story, and I’m just so excited to share the screen with these wonderful actors,” Poe replied when questioned by MJ Felipe at the airport.
Poe expressed her excitement about sharing the screen with the new cast members of ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ including screen veteran Jaclyn Jose and the sultry actress Ivana Alawi. Alawi is expected to be Poe’s competition for Martin’s character.
In September 10, Martin and Poe will showcase their talents alongside many other Kapamilya stars at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan.
For the first time, Coco Martin and the entire team behind ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ prepared a special treat for viewers, offering a five-minute trailer that provides a glimpse into the series’ upcoming story, set to begin airing on Monday.
