The series premieres on Prime Video this October 5, ahead of its rumored free television premiere.
Kim Chiu does not see any problem in having her comeback teleserye debut on Prime Video, first, before it eventually gets seen on traditional television. The actress instead expressed pride in such surprising move by ABS-CBN.
While such a TV premiere is not yet confirmed, Dreamscape Entertainment’s announcement that the series will debut on Prime Video, this October 5, already stirred massive excitement among fans and loyal Kapamilya viewers.
But it is not just excitement that such an announcement made the audience feel. Some actually also felt a bit sad, that the series won’t be the Pinoy Big Brother Teens first big winner’s Primetime Bida comeback.

“Yung last part! 😱 Pero sayang, akala ko talaga comeback na to ni Kim sa Primetime Bida, ” posted @alt_kapamilyaol on X, expressing her excitement but at the same time regret, that the series won’t be seen on free TV, at least for now.
Chiu’s last TV series to air on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida block is notably the 2019 series, The Two of Us, which she starred opposite her reel-to-real partner, Xian Lim. In Linlang, Chiu teams up new leading men Paulo Avelino and JM de Guzman. The series also marks the first that she is working with the Diamond Star, Maricel Soriano.
As a response, Chiu politely disagreed with the fan, and shared her pride and excitement for global audiences, which the series has a great chance of reaching through Prime Video.
”It’s not sayang po.💙 Being seen on this kind of platform@PrimeVideo @primevideoph in 240 countries and territories worldwide is a big privilege for me, “ she shared, highlighting the series’ becoming available to more than 200 territories worldwide
“This will be shown not just here in PH but worldwide.☺️ Praying for the best for the sho 🙏🏻 #LinlangOnPrime, ” she added, expressing optimism for the show.
If reports are true, Linlang is likely to follow suit fellow ABS-CBN series, La Vida Lena (2021), in terms of distribution. The Erich Gonzales-topbilled series, was notably made available first, on iWantTFC, for months, before it eventually debuted on Primetime Bida.
