On September 4, talent manager-director Johnny M. Manahan admitted he thought he was getting ‘rusty’ in handling TV shows.
At the media event for ‘The Voice Generations,’ which LionhearTV covered, Manahan noted that while he had apprehensions about getting ‘rusty’ as a director, he had fun working on the set of the Kapuso TV show.
Parang kinakalawang ang utak ko, but most importantly, I had fun doing it.
“And I hope, everybody– everyone liked it, parang ganon naman may feedback ako na maganda naman ‘yung ginawa namin. And I’m so happy just to be doing a show like that for GMA Network.”
He then appreciated how GMA Network gave him the opportunity to helm a show after three years.
He also responded to netizens’ praising the production value of ‘The Voice Generations.’
So I’m glad that people liked the show.
The Voice Generations features judges and coaches Billy Crawford, Chito Miranda, Julie Anne San Jose, and Stell Ajero of SB19.
Hosted by Dingdong Dantes and under the direction of Manahan, ‘The Voice Generations’ began on August 27, with new episodes every Sunday, 7 PM on GMA Network.
