Jennica Garcia recently admitted to having a vulnerability when it comes to love.
During the press launch of her new endorsement for Skin White on August 24 at Romulo’s Restaurant in Quezon City, she shared that she is easily swayed by words of affirmation and sweet compliments.
“My weakness is receiving words of affirmation. In other words, medyo uto-uto tayo! When we’re told, ‘Ang ganda mo’ or ‘Ikaw lang ang mamahalin ko’, ako naman si, ‘Ah, oo nga! Tama nga!’” the “Dirty Linen” actress revealed in a report.
However, Jennica emphasized that she has grown wiser in matters of the heart and no longer falls for sweet talk easily. She has learned to evaluate a person’s true intentions before opening up.
“If someone wants to get to know me, I don’t easily reciprocate. I now know how to weigh a person’s intention: Is it genuine, pure?” she stated.
Furthermore, Jennica emphasized that she now looks for a partner who not only loves and accepts her but is also willing to embrace her children.
“You’re not just looking for a good partner. You ask yourself, ‘Will he make a good father to my children?’” Jennica added.

Jennica Garcia and Alwyn Uytingco’s relationship ended in 2021. They were married for ten years and have two daughters together, Athena and Severina. The reason for their separation has not been publicly disclosed, but Jennica has mentioned that they tried to work things out to no avail. She is currently in the process of annulling her marriage to Alwyn and is focused on being a single mother to their daughters. Both Jennica and Alwyn are committed to co-parenting their children and ensuring their well-being.
