On August 23, artist Jake Ejercito revealed that his daughter is his number one, ‘Basher.’
At the media conference for ‘A Very Good Girl,’ which LionhearTV covered, Ejercito discussed that he would consider having his parents and daughter proud of him as a success.
“For me, it’s [kind of] similar sa answer ni Chie. Nothing would make me feel more successful than my parents being proud of me and my daughter, of course.”
He endearingly admitted that his number one basher is his daughter, Ellie.
“Number one basher ko ‘yun eh. Mapapanood niya ba ‘to direk? ‘Di ba ano? She’ll have to wait.
“Number one basher pero siya lang ‘yung may right na mang-bash sa akin.”
He then talked about what it was like for him to be in his first film.
“Well, for me, kasi, it’s my first film.
“It’s my first film kasi. Pinag-usapan namin ‘to ni Kat. It’s really total of me to adjust kasi iba ‘yung pacing ng teleserye sa film di ba?”
He also recounted what it was like working with Dolly De Leon and Kathryn Bernardo.
“We we’re watching not only Miss D (Dolly De Leon) but also Kath din. More on their craft and how professional they are, parang it makes you want to elevate your craft [as well] and do your best everytime.”
‘A Very Good Girl‘ stars Kathryn Bernardo and Dolly De Leon as a mother-daughter duo.
The Star Cinema film features Kaori Oinuma, Chie Filomeno, Gillian Vicencio, and Jake Ejercito.
Under the screenplay of Marrione Dominique Mancol, Jumbo Albano, and Daniel Saniana and the direction of Petersen Vargas, ‘A Very Good Girl’ opens in cinemas on September 27.
