The second season of the Kapuso game show ‘Family Feud,’ hosted by Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, is set to premiere on October 2.
During the recent mediacon for the show, there was a discussion about the guest appearance of the ‘It’s Showtime’ hosts, but scheduling conflicts reportedly caused a delay.
It appears that an episode featuring Team Vice Ganda and Team Anne Curtis, two prominent ‘It’s Showtime’ hosts, is in the works for the return of ‘Family Feud.’ However, scheduling adjustments are still being made, so fans will have to wait for confirmation regarding when this special episode will air.
Dingdong Dantes expressed his excitement about having the ‘It’s Showtime’ hosts as guests on ‘Family Feud.’ He believes that many viewers will eagerly anticipate the showdown between Vice and Anne.
Apart from this special episode, Dingdong also announced that there will be a ‘Family Feud’ kids edition, and they are opening the show to everyone who wants to participate and play.
Dingdong admitted that he missed ‘Family Feud’ during its season break, especially because many people reminded him of it wherever he went. His parents even inquired about when the show would return, which he found amusing.
Regarding future contestants, Dingdong mentioned that he would like to see the family of Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villarroel with their twins Cassy and Mavy, who previously guested on the show and went viral for their response about hotdogs. He also expressed his wish for the tandem of Barbie Forteza and David Licauco to participate.
Dingdong even entertained the idea of appearing as a contestant on ‘Family Feud’ with his cousins Carlo Gonzalez and Arthur Solinap while suggesting that his wife Marian Rivera or Michael V. could temporarily host the show in his absence.
Despite his busy schedule, Dingdong is enjoying a productive year with numerous projects. He recently concluded the primetime series ‘Royal Blood’ and is set to begin work on ‘Family Feud’ on the following Monday. He is also involved in ‘The Voice Generations’ and ‘Amazing Earth.’ Additionally, he and Marian will start shooting for their entry in the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival, titled ‘Rewind.’

Dingdong admitted that he recently fell ill, but he is now in good health. He emphasized that he makes sure to allocate quality time for his children, Zia and Sixto, and also dedicates couple time with Marian despite his hectic schedule.
