Leading Philippine television GMA Network has thrilled fans by revealing plans to create a Philippine adaptation of the beloved 2009 Korean drama series, ‘Shining Inheritance.’
The eagerly awaited series will feature a talented ensemble cast, including Kyline Alcantara, Kate Valdez, Paul Salas, and Michael Sager.
‘Shining Inheritance,’ originally headlined by Lee Seung Gi, Han Hyo Joo, Moon Chae Won, and Bae Soo Bin, tells the story of a woman from a wealthy family who unexpectedly loses her wealth and must navigate life’s challenges after her father’s passing.
This announcement adds to the growing list of Korean dramas that have been adapted for Philippine audiences, following in the footsteps of successful remakes such as ‘Start-Up,’ ‘Descendants of the Sun,’ ‘Stairway to Heaven,’ ‘Full House,’ and ‘My Name is Kim Sam Soon.’
Kyline Alcantara, recognized for her role in ‘Luv Is: Love at First Read,’ joins the project alongside Kate Valdez, who previously starred in ‘Unica Hija.’ Paul Salas, known for his appearance in ‘The Write One,’ and Michael Sager, featured in ‘Luv Is: Caught In His Arms,’ complete the promising cast lineup.
