Carla Abellana has put to rest the rumors circulating about her joining the cast of ‘FPJ’s Ang Batang Quiapo’ led by Coco Martin.
These speculations arose amid reports of her transition to All Access To Artists (Triple A), under the management of Direk Mike Tuviera.
During the official launch event of her partnership with Triple A on September 26, 2023, the media had the opportunity to clarify this matter with Carla.
She stated, “Kung bibigyan po ako ng opportunity, why not? My goodness! I would love to be part of Batang Quiapo. Pero wala naman pong offer. Wala pong inaalok sa akin na maging parte po ng Batang Quiapo.”
“As of ngayon, wala naman pong final na offer na maging parte po ng kahit na anong proyekto. So, hindi po. Pero kung yayain po ako, kung aalukin po ako, magiging open po ako dun,” she added.
Carla Abellana recently finished her role in ‘Voltes V: Legacy’ and has another drama series with GMA Network titled ‘The Stolen Life,’ alongside Gabby Concepcion.
Amidst the rumors, it is important to note that Carla’s contract with GMA Network expired in May, and there has been no renewal or signing with any network as of now. She has been with GMA for 14 years, with her last appearance in ‘To Have & to Hold’ in 2021, followed by special appearances in ‘First Lady’ and ‘Voltes V: Legacy.’
