The Kapuso actress reposted a clip of It’s Showtime, which featured the fun banter among It’s Showtime hosts, who asked one of the Tawag Ng Tanghalan contenders’ favorite Sharon Cuneta film.

Kapuso Primetime Princess, Barbie Forteza, could not contain her excitement, after finding out that her new show, Maging Sino Ka Man, practically got a free promotion on the Kapamilya noontime show, It’s Showtime.
During the Tawag Ng Tanghalan segment of the September 11 episode of the show, Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, and Karylle, interviewed one of the contenders and asked what her favorite Sharon Cuneta film.
The contestant answered ‘Maging Sino Ka Man’, which prompted Vice and the other two hosts, to bring into the discussion the current Kapuso series with the same title.

“May teleseryeng Maging Sino Ka Man. (‘Yung) kay Barbie,” Vice Ganda said, which Karylle agreed to, saying, “Yes, sila ni David,” referring to Kapuso actor, David Licauco, Forteza’s current onscreen partner.
Forteza, interestingly, already guested on the Kapamilya noontime show, twice, following ABS-CBN’s blocktime deal with GMA Network’s other free-to-air channel, GTV. Vice Ganda also delightfully talked about the Kapuso actress and her shows on the noontime show, in multiple occasions.
“Yes. Ni-remake nila,” agreed Navarro, who is known for impersonating the lead male star of the original film, Robin Padilla. The film Maging Sino Ka Man, was released by the film studio, Viva Films, in 1991.
On X, Forteza exclaimed “Waaah! Thank you po!,” reposting the clip and indirectly thanking the three It’s Showtime hosts. Maging Sino Ka Man airs from Mondays to Fridays, right after 24 Oras. It marks the second time Forteza and Licauco are starring in a series, as a love team.
