Actress Winwyn Marquez shared her personal experience of dealing with lies and cheating in relationships.
She revealed how she overcomes such challenges and encourages others not to let these experiences hinder their ability to love again.
“Don’t be afraid to fall in love or be loved,” Winwyn advised, echoing the sentiments of her co-star Martin. She emphasized that fearing love could harm one’s chances at a fulfilling relationship. “Don’t let past hurts control your future,” she added.
Drawing parallels with the characters in their upcoming film, “The Cheating Game,” Winwyn agreed with Martin’s perspective on cheating.
She acknowledged that cheating doesn’t always involve a third person, pointing out that lies about various matters can be just as hurtful. “I’ve experienced that pain, and if it repeats, separation becomes inevitable,” she noted.
Winwyn also shared her strategies for moving on from cheating. She expressed the importance of allowing oneself to feel the emotions, including crying to release sadness.
Additionally, she recommended engaging in activities like singing, dancing, or acting to channel emotions positively and grow as an individual.
In “The Cheating Game,” Winwyn Marquez plays Vanessa, a strong-willed career woman entangled in complex relationships alongside Julie Anne San Jose’s character, Hope, and Rayver Cruz’s character, Miguel. The film, produced by GMA Public Affairs and GMA Pictures, offers a mature and authentic exploration of betrayal’s aftermath in modern dating.
