Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo address feeling scared of the MTRCB when launching ‘Wow Mali, Doble Tama’

On August 17, comedians Wally Bayola and Jose Manalo addressed whether they felt scared of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board when mounting ‘Wow Mali, Doble Tama.’

At the media conference for ‘Wow Mali, Doble Tama,’ which LionhearTV covered, Bayola highlighted that their creative team intensively worked on each prank and ensured they wouldn’t offend viewers and the people they pranked.

Manalo agreed with Bayola, citing they’re afraid of making mistakes as a prank show.

“Talagang Wow, kapag Wow Mali, ibig sabihin, Wow, natatakot magkamali.

Earlier, Bayola committed a violation against MTRCB’s guidelines after a profanity incident on live television in one of E.A.T’s Sugod Bahay mga Kapatid episodes.

As for feedback from viewers and netizens, Manalo remarked that he would focus on the comments from televiewers rather than on social media.

Bayola asserted that he does acknowledge people’s feedback, which would help him improve his hosting skills.

‘Wow Mali, Doble Tama,’ hosted by Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola, airs on August 26 at 6:15 PM on TV5 and 7:00 PM on Buko Channel, with new episodes every Saturday.
