Continuing its streak of breaking records, the GMA Afternoon Prime’s popular series “The Seed of Love” has once again shattered its ratings record with a heartwarming reunion between Eileen (Glaiza De Castro) and Bobby (Mike Tan).
In a plot twist that captivated viewers, Eileen and Bobby, who had been separated for an extended period, found themselves back together in an unexpected turn of events. Eileen woke up in a hospital after undergoing surgery, a procedure she hadn’t personally agreed to. With Bobby’s return to the Philippines, Eileen’s best friend Mona (Yana Asistio) secured his approval as Eileen’s legal guardian.
The emotional scenes depicting the reunion of Eileen and Bobby resonated strongly with the audience, resulting in “The Seed of Love” achieving a remarkable 10.5 percent rating on August 7, according to Nielsen Philippines Tam NUTAM People Ratings.
Previously, the series had already set a benchmark with a 9.9 percent rating on August 4 and 4, during Eileen and Bobby’s initial reunion.
With Eileen and Bobby finally crossing paths after a significant time apart, the storyline takes another twist as Alexa (Valerie Concepcion) finds herself compelled to urge Bobby to make a choice between her and Eileen.
