O/C Records R&B singer-songwriter Cean Jr. is now making waves across social media and digital music streaming platfoms with his viral hit “YK.”
Released over two years ago, “YK” is currently among the top OPM songs.
On Spotify alone, where Cean Jr. has about 2.2 million monthly listeners as of this writing, the track garners an average of 300,000 streams per day. In total, it already has almost 32 million streams.
Apart from music platform’s Viral Hit charts, “YK,” which stands for “you know,” has also been featured on Spotify’s Tatak Pinoy Playlist, which banners Cean Jr., and on Hot Hits Philippines.
On social media, particularly on TikTok and YouTube, netizens—especially the fans of Korean pop group ENHYPHEN—describe the song as ‘national anthem of the delulus (delusionals)’ as they associate it with one of the members, Heeseung.
Just this month, O/C Records launched the music video of “YK,” now with almost 150,000 views.
