In our zoom interview, actor Martin Del Rosario has revealed his strong stance on cheating and dishonesty in relationships, echoing sentiments expressed by fellow celebrity Julie Anne San Jose.

“I consider cheating non-negotiable. I can forgive the person, pero wala ng balikan,” Martin declared, drawing parallels to Julie’s perspective on infidelity. He urged people not to let such situations affect their self-esteem, emphasizing that blaming oneself or dwelling on shortcomings to make sense of the betrayal is unnecessary.

Addressing a broader aspect of cheating, Martin stated, “For me, lying, omitting the truth, or some details, para lang sa ikagaganda ng argument mo–for me that is cheating na eh. Hindi lang naman about sa affair ang cheating.” He shared that he had also experienced this form of betrayal. “Lying is a sin din, kasi bakit itatago sa akin,” he added.

Martin further elaborated on the impact of lies in relationships, highlighting the importance of transparency for peace of mind. “Paano ako magkakaroon ng peace of mind sa relationship kung may tinatago. For me, non-negotiable ang cheating. Kaya kong patawarin pero hindi ko na babalikan,” he affirmed.

Martin plays the role of Brian in the film “The Cheating Game,” produced by GMA Public Affairs and GMA Pictures. The movie, delves into the aftermath of betrayal and showcases the struggles of characters dealing with relationship challenges.

Starring alongside Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz, the film aims to offer a mature and relatable portrayal of modern dating dynamics, promising an emotionally charged cinematic experience.
