On July 20, artists Marco Gallo and Heaven Peralejo revealed the craziest thing they would do for each other.
At the media conference for ‘For The Love,’ which LionhearTV covered, Gallo recalled going above and beyond whenever he had to meet up with Peralejo.
“Between the list of all the things I did for you–, when we have work or when we decide to hang out, usually if it showers, and Grab doesn’t work, so even if it is raining, I would take an Angkas, and get there wherever we need to go, all drenched and wet.
“And sometimes when–I admit this, it’s wrong, I did it still, there was this time that Angkas and Grab weren’t available, and so I begged a Lalamove guy, I booked a truck, and hopped in the [truck]– [just so] I could go and see her. And he was like, ‘I’m going to get fined,’ and I said, ‘Kuya, I’ll hand you 1K. Let’s Go.'”
Peralejo attested to Gallo’s kindness and generosity whenever he visited her on a set or at home.
“‘Yung time na ‘yun basang-basa siya, may dala pa siyang pagkain. Kasi mahilig siyang mag-luto, eh hindi ako masyadong kumakain, nag-oorder, so siya minsan, it’s either pupunta lang siya kung nasaan man ako sa set. Or sa bahay ni Mama, tapos magdadala lang siya ng food. Tapos aalis din naman siya. So ayun na-appreciate ko ‘yung mga ganong moment.”
Aside from his above-and-beyond feat, Gallo also recounted how he almost left showbiz because of a past girlfriend.
“I think the craziest thing I did in the past was for love. I remember telling this girl [that]I was ready to leave showbusiness, depart from it, and follow her. She didn’t want me, of course– she was not in love with me. She was like telling me not to go. But yeah.”
As for ‘For The Love,’ the TV5 romantic anthology series includes 13 episodes featuring Gallo, Peralejo, Jairus Aquino, Aubrey Caraan, and Bea Binene in their respective stories.
The upcoming kilig-filled anthology series hosted by the Concert Queen Pops Fernandez airs on July 29 via TV5.
