On July 22, Viva artist Marco Gallo recounted how Heaven Peralejo helped with his anxiety while filming their latest movie.
At the media conference for ‘The Ship Show,’ which LionhearTV covered, Gallo detailed how he felt anxious while portraying his role in the upcoming Viva Films movie.
“Tapos mayroon isang time po na parang nag–hindi naman sa nagwawala, anong tawag doon, parang getting annoyed– so mayroong– yeah I was having an anxiety attack tapos hindi po siya lumalabas.
“And I discovered na–I already knew na magaling siya na actress, and so I was learning from her, she was guiding me to it–to this scene na hindi ko magawa. And she really helped me out.”
He explained that he felt tired and pressured while completing their scenes for ‘The Ship Show.’
“So I think, I remember clearly naman. So, you know how it is sometimes na medyo mabilisan, you don’t want to be the cause of delay. Ilan lang ‘yung shooting days. So super na-pressure ako, on set kasi medyo bigatin ‘yung eksena. Kailangan ko talaga ibigay ng maganda kasi pelikula po ‘to. Kahit ano naman, kailangan ko ibigay ‘yung 100%.
“And for some reason siguro, sa pagod, sa pressure, sa ninenerbyos po ako na hindi ko maibigay agad. ‘Yun nga medyo natagalan kami doon, tapos tinulungan niya ako. Then after that, everything went right.”
He then noted how Peralejo calmed him down so they could get back to filming their scene.
“She pulled me aside and we were, parang ganito, nasa behind tayo ng kurtina kasi may eksena doon with kurtina and we went inside that and I need nobody to be there, and kaisa naman ipalabas lahat, nagtago kami sa likod ng kurtina and she just started talking to me about stuff that she knows about me. And she used it against me, and nag-work naman siya.”
Gallo and Peralejo star in the Viva Films movie ‘The Ship Show.’
The cast also features Rabin Angeles, Bianca Santos, PJ Rosario, Angelic Guzman, Janine Teñoso, Migo Valid, Madeleine Red, Martin Venegas, Ashtine Olviga, and Tomas Rodriguez.
The Viva Films movie, under the direction of Jason Paul Laxamana, opens in cinemas starting August 9.
