Actress Lovi Poe is making her return to the hit ABS-CBN teleserye ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ after her recent marriage to film producer Monty Blencowe.
According to Lovi’s manager in a report by Gorgy Rula, Leo Dominguez, the actress is scheduled to return to the Philippines on September 1 for the taping of ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.’
Her comeback adds an intriguing twist to the show, as Ivana Alawi has also been introduced as a possible leading lady for Coco Martin’s character, potentially creating a love triangle in the storyline.
In a teaser video, Ivana was shown comforting Coco Martin’s character, Tanggol, who had been injured outside a correctional facility. The show has also welcomed other celebrities such as Vandolph Quizon, Soliman Cruz, Julio Diaz, Robert Seña, and Jaclyn Jose.
Aside from her television commitment, Lovi will be joining Coco Martin for the ‘ASAP Natin ‘To’ show in Milan, Italy.
Lovi, who tied the knot with British movie producer Monty Blencowe on August 26 (UK time), portrayed a reluctant bride in ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ a stark contrast to her radiant appearance during her real-life wedding.
The actress announced her engagement to Monty on August 8, marking a significant milestone in her personal life.
