Actress Loisa Andalio recently disclosed that she forgave her boyfriend, actor Ronnie Alonte, for his past infidelity. She cited Alonte’s willingness to admit his mistakes as the reason for her decision.
During an interview with Push, Andalio emphasized that forgiving Alonte, despite his unfaithfulness, was her “choice.” She appreciated his honesty about his past mistakes.
The actress further explained her forgiveness by recognizing that “no one is perfect.” She expressed a preference for overcoming challenges with her partner rather than starting a new relationship.
Kaya nga sabi nila ‘di ba, ‘I’d rather have bad times with you, than good times with someone else,’” she said, referring to the song “I’d Rather” by Luther Vandross.
Andalio emphasized that forgiving someone is “easy” and that choosing forgiveness over anger leads to inner peace.
She added, gesturing to Alonte, “And in fairness naman sa kanya, deserving naman siya.”
In February 2023, Alonte admitted in an interview that Andalio had caught him being unfaithful several times in the past. He also revealed that they had temporarily separated to heal.
Andalio, on the other hand, stated that she sees her ‘Pira-Pirasong Paraiso’ co-star as “the one” and that she wouldn’t continue the relationship if she didn’t believe it was worth it.
