On September 27, 2023, moviegoers will once again have the chance to witness Kathryn Bernardo’s star power on the big screen as she takes the lead in the film “A Very Good Girl,” alongside Dolly de Leon.
The film is under the direction of young filmmaker Petersen Vargas and is produced by Star Cinema.
Petersen Vargas, who also directed the hit movie “Inconvenient Love” starring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano (also produced by Star Cinema), is at the helm of “A Very Good Girl.” He has an impressive track record, including directing the award-winning Cinema One Originals movie “2 Cool 2 Be 4Gotten” in 2016 and the popular web series “Hello Stranger” in 2020, among other projects.
Kathryn Bernardo holds the record for starring in record-breaking movies like “The Hows of Us” with Daniel Padilla in 2018 and “Hello, Love, Goodbye” with Alden Richards in 2019, both of which were directed by box office director Cathy Garcia-Molina. These successes occurred prior to the pandemic.
