Veteran actress Janice Jurado has issued a plea not to drag one of the main stars of ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ into the recent airing of her grievances.
Just the other day, she expressed her frustrations about her young co-star, citing conflicts on the set of their television series. Apparently, the young star expressed a sense of urgency in Janice to leave the teleserye, particularly in her role as Janet, a character frequently seen in scenes with Lovi Poe at the club.
This incident leads to questions regarding Janice’s recent admission that she was the “other woman” in the life of the late Action King Fernando Poe, Jr. She disclosed that upon learning of their relationship, Fernando’s wife, the late Susan Roces, ignored her.
Recently, Lovi Poe took a temporary leave and informed the management of ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ coinciding with the announcement of her engagement to her fiancé, Montgomery Blencowe. These events have sparked rumors of an impending wedding.
This turn of events could have provided significant exposure for Janice, who is making a comeback to showbiz. The role in ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ was a substantial opportunity for her as it provided a regular show, especially since she’s battling cancer and needs financial support for her treatments.
It remains to be seen how Janice’s exit will be portrayed on the series and if there’s a possibility for her to return in the future.
