Rumors are circulating that the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) might impose more than just a simple penalty on the popular noontime show “It’s Showtime,” according to Cristy Fermin on her YouTube show ‘Showbiz Now Na!’ premiered on August 10.
Cristy went on to reveal a more severe possibility for the Kapamilya noontime show.
This is related to the scene involving Vice Ganda and Ion Perez eating icing off their fingers in the “Isip Bata” segment of the show. While many viewers and netizens didn’t see anything wrong or offensive, the MTRCB, especially its head Lala Sotto, had a different perspective.
As a result, the MTRCB is requiring the show’s producers to explain the situation. There is no news yet about the outcome of their discussions.
