Kapamilya noontime show ‘It’s Showtime,’ has emerged as the top-rated program in the nationwide urban and rural ratings game, as reported by Nielsen’s PHINTAM (Philippines National Television Audience Measurement) ratings metrics.
On its July 29 Saturday episode, ‘It’s Showtime’ achieved a remarkable rating percentage of 4.2 percent, surpassing its competitors ‘E.A.T.’ and ‘Eat Bulaga,’ which garnered 3.9 percent each. The PHINTAM ratings clearly indicate ‘It’s Showtime’s’ popularity, being 0.3 percent ahead of its closest rivals.

Kantar Media’s TV ratings report also aligned with Nielsen’s PHINTAM results, further affirming ‘It’s Showtime’s’ dominance over its competitors, ‘E.A.T.’ and ‘Eat Bulaga! ‘
In the latest Kantar rating report released on July 3, ‘It’s Showtime’ maintained its lead with a rating of 7.0 percent, outperforming TV5’s E.A.T., which scored 6.6 percent, and TAPE Inc.’s ‘Eat Bulaga!’, which obtained a rating of 5.9 percent.
Although most TV networks and advertisers typically refer to Nielsen’s NUTAM report due to the higher buying power in urban areas, the PHINTAM report clearly indicates that ‘It’s Showtime’ is the preferred noontime TV show among a greater number of Philippine households.
Meanwhile, TVJ’s ‘E.A.T’ continues to dominate the NUTAM ratings with 5.0 percent, followed by Eat Bulaga! with 4.2 percent, and It’s Showtime in third place with 3.8 percent.
