The episode marks the discontinuation network’s decade-long slogan, ‘Serbisyong Totoo’, as it transitions to a new branding that highlights GMA Intergrated News’s reputation as the ‘News Authority ng Filipino’.
GMA Network’s news department continues to transition to a new direction. Now called GMA Integrated News to underscore the collective strength of the network’s national and regional TV stations, as well as all digital Kapuso platforms, the Kapuso news division adopts a new slogan to better articulate its mission and vision as a top news organization. For years, the network used the tagline ‘Serbisyong Totoo’, highlighting its commitment to delivering unbiased and truthful journalism.

This is what Kapuso news anchors used to include in their closing spiels. However on Monday, August 7, the closing lines that 24 Oras anchors, Mel Tiangco, Emil Sumangil, and Vicky Morales, were not what they used to say before.
The line was subsequently used in Saksi and other news programs of the network,.
Online, many netizens expressed sadness over the rebranding of the Kapuso news division, with most insisting the previous tagline, is still irreplaceable. While it may take a while before avid Kapuso viewers get used to the new slogan, what this move by GMA Integrated News, only proves that they remain atop the hierarchy of news organizations in the country.
