The GMA Network afternoon block has firmly established its position in the ratings game, with each program complementing the others and collectively pushing the overall rating numbers higher.
Since the initial success of ‘Abot Kamay Na Pangarap’ (AKNP), all the subsequent programs have also reaped the benefits of this positive trend.
The latest rating reports from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey clearly illustrate how AKNP serves as a foundation, positively impacting the performance of the drama series in the afternoon lineup.
On Monday, July 31, AKNP secured a rating of 12.6 percent, claiming the number 4 spot on the ratings board. It was followed by ‘Magandang Dilag,’ which landed in the number 6 position with a rating of 11.2 percent. ‘The Seed of Love’ followed at number 8 with 8.6 percent.
On Tuesday, August 1, AKNP experienced a slight dip to 12.3 percent but retained its number 4 position on the chart. ‘Magandang Dilag’ also maintained its number 6 spot, with ratings climbing to 11.6 percent. Similarly, ‘The Seed of Love’ saw an increase of 0.7 percent, reaching 9.3 percent, and its ranking moved up to number 7.
On Wednesday, August 2, AKNP swiftly recovered, adding 0.1 percent to achieve 12.4 percent. ‘Magandang Dilag’ continued its ascent, scoring 11.7 percent, while ‘The Seed of Love’ experienced a slight decrease of 0.3 percent, reaching 9.0 percent.
On Thursday, August 3, ‘Magandang Dilag’ soared to 13.2 percent, surpassing AKNP, which scored 13.0 percent. Meanwhile, ‘The Seed of Love’ also saw a significant increase, reaching 9.9 percent.
As AKNP and ‘Magandang Dilag’ wrapped up the week on Friday, August 4, both experienced a decrease of 0.5 and 0.7 percent, respectively, settling at 12.5 percent. On the other hand, ‘The Seed of Love’ maintained its 9.9 percent rating.
In the brand new week starting Monday, August 7, AKNP, ‘Magandang Dilag,’ and ‘The Seed of Love’ all registered rating increases, reaching 12.8, 12.6, and 10.5 percent, respectively.
However, on Tuesday, August 8, the three popular Kapuso afternoon series experienced a slight decline, with AKNP at 12.2 percent, ‘Magandang Dilag’ at 11.3 percent, and ‘The Seed of Love’ at 9.2 percent.
