Eric Tai, popularly known as Eruption, has been a familiar face in the entertainment industry, having been one of the hosts of “It’s Showtime” from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, he frequently joins Team It’s Showtime in the Star Magic All-Star Games, where he was part of the winning team this year.
Earlier this year, during an interview with Julius Babao, Eruption revealed that he was informed by a producer that he would be removed from “It’s Showtime” due to a reformat of the program. Despite this, he harbored no ill feelings towards the “It’s Showtime” family and expressed gratitude to Vice Ganda, the other co-hosts, and the show’s staff for providing him with an opportunity to work and gain popularity.
