‘Hosto,’ directed by Jao Elamparo, premiered last June 16 on ‘Vivamax.’ One of its stars, Denise Esteban, revealed how she sacrificed for love, to the point she even became a ‘sugar mommy.’
Vince Rillon, Angela Morena, Ali Asistio, and Jay Manalo joined Denise Esteban in the cast of Vivamax’s ‘Hosto,’ a film crafted by Brillante Mendoza and directed by Jao Elamparo.
The film follows the story of a young man who ventures to Japan to improve the lives of his family back home. It was shot in the picturesque Land of the Rising Sun, Japan, and began screening on June 16th on ‘Vivamax.’
Denise admitted that she can do anything for love. In addition to her revelation of becoming a ‘sugar mommy’ to her ex-boyfriend, she also shared how she’s willing to become a ‘hosto’ herself for her own family. She said, “For me po, gagawin ko ang lahat para sa family ko, kasi sobrang laki ng utang na loob ko sa mga magulang ko, and once na makita ko na yung pamilya ko na okay na, tsaka ko naman uunahin ang sarili ko.”
During her first experience at a Hosto Bar while they were filming in Japan, she also revealed, “Yung mga hosto doon ay malaki ang respeto nila sa sarili nila eh, pag tinabihan ka niya sa upuan, hindi ka niya hahawakan, pagsisilbihan ka nila.”
