Cebuana Lhuillier, the Philippines’ leading and largest microfinancial services provider and the local government of Antipolo strengthened their partnership to help Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by recently opening its first Kanegosyo Center branch in the city.
Through this partnership, the new branch at SM Cherry in Antipolo makes its products and services even more accessible to more Filipino entrepreneurs.
The Kanegosyo Center is a one-stop shop that can be accessed through the Kanegosyo Center website and kiosks at selected LGU and Cebuana Lhuillier branches. Launched earlier this year, it provides coaching services to aspiring entrepreneurs, hassle-free solutions to help set up a new business, and financial products such as loans and investments to boost and grow existing businesses.
“We are thrilled to take this decisive step forward in our mission to empower MSMEs. Our recent launch last June with President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. was only the beginning of our journey to help the MSME sector achieve their dreams of starting their own businesses. Through this alliance with Antipolo City, we are determined to channel our expertise and resources to drive meaningful impact,” said Cebuana Lhuillier President and CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier.
“This is a testament to our continuous efforts and unwavering support to be closer to the people we serve, to understand their needs, and to tailor our products and services we offer,” added Cebuana Lhuillier Senior Vice President and Customer Engagement and Market Development Group Head Annette Tirol.“As we expand our efforts with Cebuana Lhuillier Kanegosyo Center, we will continue to remain steadfast in our commitment to Filipino MSMEs.”
Antipolo Mayor Casimiro Ynares III also expressed his excitement about the partnership. “As one of its first partners, this collaboration with industry giants like Cebuana Lhuillier represents a commitment to fostering economic resilience and creating a conducive environment for entrepreneurship to thrive,” he said.
“By strengthening the MSME sector, we contribute to the overall growth and prosperity of our community in Antipolo. Together, we will empower MSMEs with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to succeed.”
