During the press conference of the upcoming singing competition “The Voice Generations” Billy Crawford opened up about his emotional return to GMA Network, where he had left a trail of unforgettable memories. “Para ka lang bumabalik sa bahay, there’s so much good memories.”
However, it wasn’t just the nostalgia that made Billy accept the offer.
He revealed how he was offered a spot on the popular talent competition, “The Voice Got Talent” (TVG), which left him utterly curious and surprised.
“I was so curious, litong lito ako kasi I don’t know what was going on,” he shared.
Billy had anticipated a different role for himself when approached about TVG.
“Mentor yun ang akala kong role ko, I never thought that I actually be part of the turning chairs,” he confessed, showing that fate had other plans for him on the show.
‘The Voice Generations’ will be hosted by the Kapuso Primetime King, Ding Dong Dantes accompanied by four superstar coaches.
These coaches include the International Singer, Dancer and Host Billy Crawford; The Multi-Awarded and Best-Selling Record Artist, Julie Ann San Jose; Lead Singer and Choreographer of the famous P-Pop group SB19, Stell Arejo; and the Pinoy Rock Icon and Parokya ni Edgar’s Frontman Chito Miranda.
The show kicks-off for its highly anticipated debut on August 27 with the “Blind Auditions” where contestants strive to make their voices heard battling their way to be the very first “The Voice Generations” champion in the Philippines.
