GMA Network’s highly popular afternoon drama series, ‘Abot Kamay Na Pangarap (AKNP),’ continues to gain momentum, posing a significant threat to primetime programs on the ratings leaderboard.
Based on the latest Nielsen NUTAM People ratings, AKNP maintains its strong ratings, steadily closing the gap with its primetime counterparts.
On Monday, July 31, AKNP secured a rating of 12.6 percent, securing the 4th spot on the leaderboard, just 0.8 percent behind the 3rd-ranked program, ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ which obtained a rating of 13.4 percent.
The following day, Tuesday, August 1, AKNP experienced a slight dip of 0.3 percent, achieving a rating of 12.3 percent while holding onto its number 4 position. It remained 0.9 percent behind the 3rd-place program, ‘Voltes V: Legacy,’ which scored a rating of 13.2 percent.
However, AKNP quickly bounced back on Wednesday, August 2, gaining 0.1 percent to reach 12.4 percent but still trailing 1.5 percent behind its fellow Kapuso show, ‘VVL,’ which registered a rating of 13.9 percent.
With AKNP’s impressive rating achievements, it is entirely plausible for the show to surpass primetime programs and make its mark at the top of the rating chart.
