The chemistry between Yukii Takahashi and McCoy De Leon, both stars of the popular primetime show ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ has captivated viewers.
During a press conference held on June 8, Takahashi was asked about her thoughts on the potential of a loveteam with her co-actor De Leon.
Recognizing the importance of a strong foundation for any on-screen partnership, she highlighted the shared background she and McCoy possess. According to her, their similar experiences enable them to better understand each other’s reactions during scenes.
“I believe our shared background allows us to comprehend how to react in various situations. It’s the similarities and our understanding of each other.”
When addressing the possibility of facing backlash from McLisse fans, Takahashi gracefully acknowledged that such matters were beyond her control.
“We can’t control those things. What I can control is what I do for myself. I am ready to accept any criticism, but as of now, thank God, there hasn’t been any.”
Looking ahead to the future, Takahashi was asked about her dream leading man.
“As of now wala pa po akong naiisip na ganon, more on personality pero crush sa showbiz wala pa.
“Yung sa kilig po kasi parang kinikilig na po ako sa sarili. Kung gusto ko man kiligin ang ginagawa kong way is pakiligin yung sarili ko other than ibang tao.”
