On July 8, Filipino entrepreneur Wilbert Tolentino created buzz online with a Facebook post expressing his frustration towards an individual whom he described as ungrateful and disrespectful.
Tolentino’s post read, “Nakakadala tumulong sa tao na indi marunong mag value sa taong may pagmamalasakit at ang worst ay ungrateful asal pinapakita at palaging pabalang sumagot.”
“Nakaka (emoji ng suka) ang ugali mo. d ka magtatagal sa industria sa Asal na meron ka! Kht saan ka pa lumipat at kung d ka nagbago. binitbit mo lang problema mo sa bago mong pakikisamahan. Sorry at indi ko na kaya e defend pag-uugali at cover up ang tunay mong kulay. Nakakalungkot sabihin pero real talk po eto,” Tolentino added.
Madam Inutz, who is under Tolentino’s management, commented on his post saying, “wag mo na intindihin sir mas marami kaming nagmamahal sayo.”
Many netizens speculated that the target of Tolentino’s post could be actress Herlene Budol, as it seemed to connect with a comment made by Genesis Gallios, a friend and co-owner of Apollo World Class Male Entertainment & KTV Bar. Gallios commented, “Favorite niya dog show.” The description was recently used to describe Budol’s response during a Q&A press conference for Miss Grand Philippines.
Gallios followed up with another comment, “Diba DOG LOVER ka ? Bakit wala kang values ? Buti pa aso may loyalty.”
A close friend of Tolentino took to Facebook Live on July 8 to express his resentment towards an unnamed person who is allegedly ungrateful. He revealed that he and Tolentino were hurt by this person’s ingratitude. As of this writing, the said Facebook Live is now deleted.
“Wala kang makitang humility, It’s all about her arrogance, it’s all about her attitude na ang feeling niya she’s on top of everything,” Gallios revealed.
He added, “Wala ka marinig man lang sa kanya na ‘thank you’ for promoting, wala … a single thank you.”
Gallios also mentioned the person’s alleged unprofessionalism, citing pending projects and the inconvenience brought to others, including those on the set of her teleserye.
“Mag-apologize siya sa mga taong naabala niya, mag-apologize siya sa mga taong nag-primadonna siya. Lalo dun sa set ng teleserye niya na andami niyan naabalang tao.”
Miss Q and A’s first-ever grand champion, Juliana Parizcova, commented during the live video: “It’s just a reminder to everyone to keep their feet on the ground.”
On July 11, Tolentino posted another message that seemed threatening: “Wag mo ako subukan may screenshot ako.”
The following day, he posted, “Medyo matapang ka na ah, anong brand ba ng kape mo?”
While there is no confirmation that the subject of the posts was Budol, many netizens believe that it was likely her.
Currently, Tolentino manages Budol who stars in the GMA TV series ‘Magandang Dilag.’ She is also a strong contender for the Miss Grand Philippines 2023 title. The coronation night of the said pageant is on July 13.
