Kapamilya actor Richard Gutierrez expressed how he deeply regards the support the show has been receiving from the viewers, the advertisers, and the local government of Cebu.
The star of the top-rating Kapamilya series ‘The Iron Heart,’ Richard Gutierrez, took his chance to thank all the supporters of his show, during the press conference for its second season held at the Seda Hotel in Quezon City last June 24. Gutierrez regarded the support as instrumental to the show’s massive success.
“Maraming maraming salamat (ulit) sa mga tumatangkilik sa The Iron Heart, dahil po sa inyo, meron po kaming second season,” Gutierrez told the press, addressing the millions of viewers of the show across ABS-CBN’s many platforms, from free television, cable TV, to digital streaming services such as YouTube and iWantTFC.
The 39-year old star also did not forget to express his gratitude to the show’s advertisers, which, according to him, have not taken a pause from supporting the action-drama series.
“Gusto ko rin pasalamatan ‘yung mga advertisers natin kasi from the start ng Iron Heart, grabe ‘yung support ng mga advertisers sa The Iron Heart. Kayo po ang isa sa mga reasons kung bakit tuloy-tuloy ang success ng The Iron Heart,” he said.
Gutierrez underscored his appreciation for the showrunners, including directors Wang Yangbin, Richard Arellano, and Lester Pimentel, as well as incoming director Ian Loretos; creative team led by Jay Fernando and Henry Quitain, and the entire cast and crew working together to turn the show into the enormous success that it is today. “It really takes a village to create a show at lahat po kami nagsasakripisyo, pero ito po ang passion namin na inihahatid namin sa inyo at maraming maraming salamat po sa suporta na ibinibigay niyo sa amin.”
As the new season begins, the show shifts to its new primary location—the beautiful province of Iloilo. Recalling the warm welcome and accommodation that the local government and people of Cebu rendered for the whole production team of the first season of the show, Gutierrez acknowledged the Cebu local government unit for its part in the show’s success.
“We wanna thank (also) Cebu for accommodating us, welcoming us in Cebu. ‘Yung local government at lahat ng mga tao doon, talagang winelcome kami. Full support sila sa amin. Naging tahanan namin ang Cebu for 9 months and we’re very thankful, napakaganda po ng Cebu,” he added, noting that the whole team is now ready to welcome Iloilo.
Currently on its 7th month on air, ‘The Iron Heart’ is set to enter its brand-new season on Monday, July 3, with new actors joining the show as well as new twists and revelations in its already riveting story.
