Facebook has taken down the video posted by social media personality Rendon Labador, where he criticized the couple Vice Ganda and Ion Perez.
Labador announced on his official Facebook account that his “KAHAYUPAN VIDEO,” which contained his remarks on Vice and Ion’s actions in a recent episode of “It’s Showtime,” has been removed.
In the said episode, the couple made jokes about how they ate icing from a cake, which Labador found offensive, especially since there were children present in the “Isip Bata” segment.
Expressing his frustration over the takedown of his video, Labador questioned, “Bakit ang mainstream pwede mag post ng kabastusan? Tapos yung pag sita at pag tatama ng mga mali ay pinipigilan? Facebook Philippines ano ang ngyayari sa Pilipinas? “Sana bumalik ang video within 24 hours! hindi ako mag sasawang bumoses para sa taong bayan! #stayMotivated.”
Facebook sent Labador a warning regarding his video, stating, “Your post goes against our community standards on harassment and bullying. No one else can see your post.
“We have these standards because we want everyone to feel safe, respected and welcome.
“If your content goes against our Community Standards again, your account may be restricted or disabled.”
Meanwhile, Labador once again challenged Vice, who has remained silent, saying, “May balita na ba kayo? nag tago na yata si Vice.” He followed this up with a call to the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), asking, “Hello, MTRCB!!! nasan na kayo???”
Labador’s latest post received mixed reactions from his followers.
