Aside from the Kapuso stars, even the Kapamilya stars and executives flocked to the second year of “GMA Gala 2023,” held on the evening of July 22, 2023, at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City.
Many eagerly awaited the arrival of the Kapamilya stars, as seen in the lively comment section during the live streaming on their respective social media platforms.
The “It’s Showtime” hosts, Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, and Anne Curtis, were expected to attend, but they arrived towards the end of the red carpet walk, giving a few interviews.
The Showtime hosts were ecstatic about the unique experience they had. It was made possible by the airing of their noontime show on “GTV,” the sister channel of GMA Network.
This event provided an opportunity for Kapamilya stars to reunite with former colleagues they haven’t seen or talked to in a long time since they went separate ways.
Some cast members from “Unbreak My Heart” also attended, including Joshua Garcia, Bianca De Vera, Eula Valdez, and Nikki Valdez.
Darren Espanto was accompanied by Kapuso star and rumored girlfriend, Cassy Legaspi, in a yellow gown.
“Batang Quiapo” star Toni Fowler was also spotted at the red carpet.
Former ABS-CBN news anchor, Ces Oreña-Drilon, graced the event as well.
But the most surprising appearance was made by ABS-CBN executives, ABS-CBN President Carlo Katigbak and Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes.
