Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose joins the star-studded lineup of coaches for GMA Network’s highly anticipated singing competition, ‘The Voice Generations.’
But before the show even began, San Jose and Jolina Magdangal’s names were caught in a Twitter feud over the title ‘Pop Icon.’
The ‘The Pop Icon Coach’ given to San Jose immediately sparked a lively debate among fans, pitting Julie Anne’s followers against Jolina’s die-hard supporters.
However, Julie Anne quickly diffused the situation with grace and humility.
In an interview on July 3, the talented singer addressed the controversy.
“Si ate Jolens, talagang naging ate ko siya, bata pa lang ako, popstar kids pa lang po, kaya parang wala naman po sigurong reason para magkaroon ng resentment sa aming dalawa. I always look up to her and I always have been looking up to her.”
Julie Anne further clarified her position, stating, “Tsaka wala po akong inaangkin, wala po sa akin yung mga titles na ‘yan.”
With the official roster of coaches finally unveiled, excitement for ‘The Voice Generations’ has reached new heights. Joining Julie Anne San Jose are renowned artists Billy Crawford, Chito Miranda, and Stell of the sensational P-pop group SB19.
‘The Voice Generations’ serves as a refreshing twist on the popular ‘The Voice’ franchise, featuring groups of at least two members from different age groups.
