On June 13, teen star Jhassy Busran admitted feeling overwhelmed about getting her dream role in ‘Unspoken Letters.
During the story conference for Unspoken Letters at the Limbaga 77 Cafe Restaurant in Quezon City, Busran expressed her appreciation for her role in the upcoming movie.
She then detailed her preparations for her role in ‘Unspoken Letters.’
“Very na-eexcite po ako and at the same time kinakabahan kasi baka mamaya, hindi ko magampanan nang maayos. But I’m doing my very best para aralin ‘yung character. And then ayun po, sobrang na-eexcite ako to work with all of them po.”
One of the film’s directors, Gat Alaman, revealed their casting process for the film, noting the potential they saw in Busran.
“So, ‘yung pagkapili po kay Jhassy, honestly talaga, nagde-develop kami ng mga actors, which is why we also launched Genius Teens. It’s a group of teenagers who have superpowers.
They also acknowledged Busran’s achievements as a teen actress.
Busran’s recognitions include the Jury Award Best of the Best Performance Short Film (Male or Female) at the 2021 International Film Festival Manhattan New York and the Outstanding Woman (Singer, Actress, and Philanthropist) at the 6th Outstanding Men and Women of the Philippines 2022.
