Actress Jane Oineza bravely admitted that she is open to the idea of a live-in setup for couples. She shared this during an interview with the press right after the media conference for her upcoming drama series ‘Nag-aapoy na Damdamin.’
In the teleserye, Oineza portrays a mature character who will be linked to two male lead characters. This prompted the press to inquire about her opinion on living together or cohabitation for couples even before marriage.
According to the Kapamilya actress, it depends on the couple’s agreement and the maturity of their relationship. She believes that it is up to the partners to decide on this matter since they will be living under the same roof.
“Depende naman po ’yan sa usapan n’yo. Sa relationship ’yan. Kung makakatulong ’yon sa inyo, nasa sa inyo ’yon. Parang kanya-kanya tayo ng [preferences],” she said.
“Kung kayo ay open sa ganu’ng klase ng relationship, nasa inyo ’yong dalawa. It doesn’t really matter kung ano’ng sasabihin ng iba as long as kayo, ’yon ’yong napag-usapan n’yo,” she added.
When asked if she is ready to be in this kind of setup with her boyfriend RK Bagatsing, she responded that it depends on what they discuss and decide together. However, she emphasized that, for now, their showbiz careers are their main priorities.
“Pag napag-usapan po siguro. Pero sa ngayon talaga, e, focus lang kami sa work ng isa’t isa, sa pagiging busy. Haha! And darating naman tayo doon.”
The press further asked if prioritizing their careers might lead to less time for each other. Oineza assured that they still make time for each other despite their busy schedules.
Meanwhile, Oineza is happy and excited to take on a lead role in an acting project for the first time. She will be joined by Ria Atayde, Tony Labrusca, and JC de Vera, along with Aya Fernandez, Nico Antonio, Kim Rodriguez, Maila Gumila, and Joko Diaz.
The revenge series ‘Nag-aapoy na Damdamin’ will premiere on July 25 at 3:50 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, TFC, A2Z, and TV5.
