‘It’s Showtime’ maintains strong TV ratings after GTV broadcast

The Kapamilya noontime show ‘It’s Showtime’ has maintained its strong TV ratings since it started airing on the Kapuso sister channel, GTV.

According to the gathered rating data from Kantar Philippines, ‘It’s Showtime’ has consistently outperformed its rival noontime shows, ‘E.A.T’ and ‘Eat Bulaga!’

On Monday, July 3, ‘It’s Showtime’ recorded a 7 percent rating, followed by ‘E.A.T.’ with 6.6 percent and ‘Eat Bulaga!’ with 5.9 percent.

On Tuesday, July 4, its ratings slightly decreased to 6.5 percent, followed by ‘E.A.T’ with 6.4 percent and ‘Eat Bulaga!’ with 5.2 percent.

The Kapamilya show’s ratings dipped again on Wednesday, July 5, as it obtained 6.4 percent. ‘E.A.T’ also decreased to 6.1 percent, while ‘Eat Bulaga!’ increased to 5.8 percent.

However, ‘It’s Showtime’ bounced on Thursday, July 6, with a 7 percent rating, followed by ‘Eat Bulaga!’ with 5.6 percent, and ‘E.A.T’ with 5.3 percent.

The ratings of ‘It’s Showtime’ further increased on Friday, July 7, as it achieved 7.3 percent, followed by ‘E.A.T’ with 5.4 percent and ‘Eat Bulaga!’ with 4.8 percent.

Kantar Media utilizes a nationwide panel size of 2,610 urban and rural households, with a respondent base of 7,000 individuals that represent 100 percent of the total Philippine TV viewing population.
