On July 6, Viva artists Hershie de Leon, Angelica Cervantes, and Mon Mendoza expressed their reactions to getting their lead roles in the upcoming movie ‘Home Service.’
At the media conference for ‘Home Service,’ de Leon thanked Viva and her manager for the opportunity.
“Siyempre po masaya kasi ito po ‘yung first movie ko na lead ako. And thankful din po ako dahil binigyan ako ng chance ng manager ko at ng Viva po.”
She then cited the challenges she faced portraying her role in ‘Home Service.’
“Noong una po, medyo nahirapan po ako kasi kinakapa ko po ‘yung character ni Happy. Pero, noong tumagal na rin po, na-in character ko na rin po siya.”
Cervantes said she felt delighted with her role since she got to portray a different character from her previous projects.
“Natutuwa po ako ngayon kasi medyo bago po siya, unlike sa ginagawa ko po before na puro drama, wala masyadong plot twist.
“Medyo bago po siya sa akin so more challenges po.”
Mendoza echoed de Leon on the challenges of portraying his first lead role.
“Opo ito po ‘yung kauna-unahan kong… first lead role ko po. Kaya sobrang nahirapan rin po ako nung una. Sobrang nangapa po ako pero the rest po naayos naman po namin noong huli.
“Yes, po parang ganon na nga po, isa po akong manloloko dito.”
The upcoming Vivamax film ‘Home Service’ stars de Leon, Mendoza, Cervantes, and Vance Larena.
Under the direction of Asuncion-Dagñalan, ‘Home Service’ streams on July 14 via Vivamax with an early release on July 8 via Vivamax Plus.
