John Lloyd Cruz’s sitcom on GMA Network, ‘Happy ToGetHer,’ will only be available for viewing until August 6.
The joint statement from GMA Network and Crown Artist Management Inc. announced that the highly-rated weekend sitcom, “Happy ToGetHer,” will conclude this August.
“Kapuso high-rating weekend sitcom ‘Happy ToGetHer’ will officially conclude at the end of this season.
“GMA Network and Crown Artist Management Inc., will still work on possible future collaborations, especially with the award-winning actor and Box Office King John Lloyd Cruz.”
GMA Network did not provide an explanation as to why the sitcom is ending despite its high ratings.
Some netizens expressed their surprise and confusion, questioning why the show is being discontinued if it indeed has high ratings: “If the ratings are high, why discontinue it?”
