Gwynette Saludes, widely known as Gwy, has captured the hearts of millions with her captivating storytelling skills.
From a young age, Saludes showcased a talent for writing, penning her first piece at the tender age of 12. Fast forward a decade, and she has become an accomplished writer with an astounding 150 million reads on Wattpad, an online platform for original stories.
Her rise to fame can be attributed to her immensely popular ‘University Series,’ a six-book saga that took the internet by storm.
The series, which began as the Twitter-serye ‘Along España,’ quickly garnered a massive following on the microblogging site.
While her success as a writer is undeniable, Saludes recently found herself at a crossroads, struggling to determine her future path.
After much contemplation, she has decided to pursue a career in law, with writing as a cherished sideline.
“Ayaw ko po gawing tabaho yung pagsusulat, baka dahil mapagod po ako,” she explained in an exclusive interview on June 16.
Furthermore, Saludes revealed that she is currently juggling multiple projects. Alongside her legal studies, she is concurrently working on three novels that continue the story of the beloved characters from her University Series.
